1-2-3…GO! It’s what’s for breakfast, lunch and dessert

Cookies. Chips. Peeps.
Forget the winter blues and start bouncing off the walls.
1. Eat dessert first.
This isn’t breakfast cereal. It’s 24/7 snack bait.
New this year are Girl Scout Cookie-inspired cereals based on two favorites: Thin Mints and Samoas/Caramel deLites.
The limited-edition cereal is available at local retailers (not in front by those adorable Girl Scouts selling cookies). I found both cereals at Albertsons for $2.99 a box, and I’m going back for more.
2. Create a flavor.
Ever wish you had a potato chip that tastes like cotton candy?
Create a flavor for this Lay’s “Do Us a Flavor” contest for a chance to win bragging rights — and a million bucks. Suggestions in this year’s contest include: Grilled cheese and tomato soup. Pancakes and bacon. Beer and brats.
It’s free and easy to enter on the online form. Submit the proposed flavor name, up to three ingredients, description and bag design.
Flavor name must not be the same or substantially similar to an existing flavor or to prior contest finalists, such as Cheesy Garlic Bread, Chicken & Waffles, Sriracha, Cappucino, Mango Salsa, Wasabi Ginger, Biscuits & Gravy, Gyro, New York Reuben and Truffle Fries. More at www.dousaflavor.com.
3. Please your peeps.
Oreo created a cookie with bright pink Peeps-flavored cream between vanilla wafers. Word — and photos — on the internet is that it also leaves a bright pink stain on more than your tongue.
