Neil Simon’s “Rumors”: Whidbey Island Center for the Arts in Langley presents the comedy, under the direction of Elizabeth Herbert, March 31 through April 15. The cast includes Brian Plebanek, Gail Liston, David Mayer, Kathy Stanley, Ken Stephens, Nicole Parnell, Christina Parker, Jim Carroll, Brian Burroughs and Megan Parker. Late Nite Catechism: Archbishop Murphy High School hosts the comedy at 7:30 p.m. April 7 at the school, 12911 39th Ave. SE, Everett, as a fundraiser. Tickets are $40.

Murder Mystery Dinner Theater: Marysville Opera House hosts “Til Death Do Us Part — All is Fair in Love and Murder” at 7 p.m. April 22 at the opera house, 1225, Third St. Tickets are $45, which must be purchased in advance. Call 360-363-8400.

AUDITIONS

Last Leaf Productions: The Snohomish County based Shakespeare touring company is auditioning actors and needs a stage manager for its summer shows — “The Comedy of Errors” and “Henry the Fourth.” Rehearsals are weekday evenings in May and June, followed by performances in July and August. Youth theater

Everett High School: Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” will be performed at 7 p.m. April 14, 15, 21, 22, and 2:30 p.m. April 15 and 22 at Everett Civic Auditorium, 2415 Colby Ave. General admission is $12; kids, seniors and ASB for $8.

Snohomish High School: “Les Miserables” will be performed May 4-14 in the school’s performance art center, 1316 Fifth St. In the meantime, students in the school’s theater club are encouraging community members to volunteer to help produce the musical. Comedy

Everett Comedy Night: Emory’s on Silver Lake, 11830 19th Ave. SE, Everett, hosts a second-Sunday monthly comedy night with Cory Michaelis. Tickets are $10. Opera

BALLET

“Giselle”: The Edmonds-based Olympic Ballet Theatre, under the direction of Mara Vinson and Oleg Gorboulev, presents “Giselle” at 7 p.m. April 8 at Everett Performing Arts Center, 2710 Wetmore Ave., and at 7 p.m. April 29 at Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N.
