Suspect in fatal south Everett shooting still at large

EVERETT — Police on Wednesday were continuing a hunt for the suspect in a deadly shooting the day before on W. Casino Road.
A man was hit by gunfire around 4 p.m. in the parking lot of Arterra Apartments at 711 W. Casino Road. He later died at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. His identity has not been released.
Witnesses reported seeing the shooter run from the scene.
Everett police have declined to provide a description of the suspect. They also declined to discuss whether the shooting appears connected to other gunfire in the Casino Road area in recent months.
Some of those shootings are believed to be related to a gang dispute.
