Teen skier injured at Stevens Pass is airlifted to hospital

GOLD BAR — An injured skier was rushed by helicopter to a hospital from Gold Bar on Sunday afternoon.
The 15-year-old boy was injured after going off a jump at Stevens Pass at about 1 p.m. Medics from Fire District 26 responded and treated the boy, who was stable.
As a precaution, the patient was taken to Fire Station 54, east of Gold Bar, and loaded onto an Airlift Northwesthelicopter and flown to an area hospital.
