Food Truck Fridays now through summer at the Everett Marina

Published 1:30 am Friday, May 5, 2017

EVERETT — Need a quick lunch?

The Washington State Food Truck Association is hosting Food Truck Fridays at the Port of Everett Marina.

Starting today, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. each Friday through September, you can find food at the South Marina between Port Gardner Landing, 1700 W. Marine View Drive, and the Marina Village.

The location provides access for Naval Station Everett sailors as well as hungry civilians.

As popularity increases, more trucks will be added. But to start out, expect to see the truck called GoFish907.

The food truck serves tacos with grilled cod, salmon or shrimp, as well as blackened salmon, and bacon seafood chowder. Sides include griddled macaroni and cheese, cilantro chile lime slaw and fruit.

The truck is run by a retired Alaska fisherman, who says on his website that he wants to educate people about the benefits of Alaska seafood.

He probably won’t have to convince too many people.
