MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Police have issued a warning after the same man apparently acted inappropriately toward girls and women in Mountlake Terrace.
The first incident was reported the afternoon of May 26 along 52nd Avenue West. Two girls in their early teens were walking when the man allegedly drove past them slowly over and over while staring at them. He took off when one attempted to take his picture.
On Tuesday afternoon, a man with a similar description and vehicle propositioned a woman along 50th Avenue West. She was in her 30s.
“When his advance was declined, the male became angry and threatened her,” according to the news release issued Thursday.
The man is described as middle-aged and possibly white or Hispanic, with dark hair and an unshaven face. He drove a light blue sedan. Anyone with information is asked to call 425-670-8260. Anyone who spots him should call 911.
