LYNNWOOD — Police have arrested a man in connection with a suspected arson in Lynnwood early Monday. No one was hurt.

The fire was reported around 12:45 a.m. It started in a van parked next to the Calvary Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church along 44th Avenue W.

Surveillance video reportedly showed the man, 44, near the van moments before smoke appeared, according to Lynnwood police. He was arrested about 11:30 a.m.

The van was destroyed. Damage to the building still is being calculated, city spokeswoman Julie Moore said.
