The Cougars forward scored a goal in Lakewood’s 5-0 win over Sultan on Tuesday and had the key pass to set up Hailey Duitsman’s goal in Thursday’s 1-0 win over Archbishop Murphy, the Cougars first-ever win over Murphy in regulation.

The Vikings outside hitter had nine kills and three aces in the Vikings’ sweep of Stanwood and combined with McKayla Huntley for 25 kills to help Lake Stevens shock Wesco North first-place team Snohomish 3-2.

The Panthers double partners beat Jonathan Wolf and Eric Saekow in the Wesco North doubles final to earn the North No. 1 seed in today’s District 1 tournament.

The Panthers swimmer won the 100 breaststroke and helped Snohomish win the 200 medley relay in both meets last week, a 97-86 win over Cascade and 111-59 win over Edmonds-Woodway.

The Seagulls harrier took first place in the Wesco 3A Cross Country Championship race on Saturday, finishing more than 7 seconds before second-place finisher Carter Osborne and leading Everett to a third-place finish.

The Grizzlies runner set a race record and just missed the course record at the Wesco 3A Cross Country Championship race at Lakewood High School, finishing the 5-kilometer course in 17 minutes, 48 seconds, nearly a minute in front of second-place finisher and teammate Katie Bianchini.
