Sophomore MF VanCitters helps Edmonds-Woodway girls soccer roll

EDMONDS — Sophomore midfielder Savanah VanCitters had a goal and three assists to lead Edmonds-Woodway (7-3-1 league, 7-4-2 overall) to a 6-0 Wesco South victory over Mariner (0-11, 0-14) Wednesday at Edmonds District Stadium.
The victory pushed Edmonds-Woodway past Kamiak into second place in the division standings.
Riley Peterson, who had a goal and an assist, got the scoring started for the Warriors with a goal in the second minute.
Also scoring for Edmonds-Woodway were Lindsey Aranda, Salina Saucedo, Hailey Hull and Michelle Rumpel, who split time in goal with Kiera Towell.
