Hiker injured on trail near Darrington

DARRINGTON — A woman was escorted off a trail in the Darrington area on Monday after she was injured while hiking.
The woman fell on the trail about 3:30 p.m., about two miles from the Boulder Creek trailhead, officials said. Her injuries weren’t believed to be life-threatening.
Crews from local fire departments and the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office responded. They hiked up to the woman and helped her down the trail.
No further details were available Monday.
