District champions. Part II

The Stilly Valley Junior League softball team won the District One Tournament with a 7-4 victory over Lake Stevens on July 8 at Lake Stevens Community Park.
The win earned the team a spot in this week’s state tournament at Windjammer Park in Oak Harbor.
The Stilly Valley roster included Hailey Malakowski, Paige Cook, Peyton Cook, Emily Quander, Davis Kuhlman, Maggie Matthews, Chloe Brown, Yasmine Perez, Sierra Nicholson, Taya Fure and Nicole McGowan. The team also included manager William Perez and coaches Josh Harris and Brian Malloy.
