Some foodies find dandelions tasty

Regarding the Sunday article, “Those dastardly dandelions”: I have to admit that I am a bit of a yard freak. I mow my lawn so the lines are just so and pick and groom when necessary. So, when I look out over my freshly mowed lawn and see that ugly yellow flower that has reared its ugly head, I sigh. Pull them, weed and feed, spot treatment, start over … I’ve done it all.

The sure fire fix of getting rid of those pesky weeds is a black Lab! He gladly eats the flower off of them and keeps my yard green as can be!
