Man’s body found on shore of Budd Inlet

OLYMPIA — The Thurston County sheriff’s office says a beachwalker found the body of a 29-year-old man washed up on the western shore of Budd Inlet.

Lt. Greg Elwin tells The Olympian the county coroner has identified the body found Tuesday afternoon and will be notifying relatives.

Elwin says the body showed no signs of trauma and was dressed in normal street clothes.

Sheriff’s investigators are trying to determine how the body wound up on the beach.
