Crab dinner tonight
Granite Falls Eagles offers a crab dinner Saturday night.
And you don’t have to be an Eagle to eat crab.
It starts at 5 p.m. and goes until the food is gone.
It’s at 402 N. Granite Ave. in Granite Falls.
Dinner costs $15 and there will be entertainment, starting at 7 p.m., by the Rumbleweed Band.
Old-time Everett: David Cameron, David Dilgard and Jack O’Donnell, all men with oodles of historical knowledge, will speak at 1 p.m. Sunday at Floral Hall in Forest Park, 802 E. Mukilteo Blvd., in Everett.
The program is called “Our Place In History, A Look at Life in Snohomish County since 1862.”
See how Everett’s growth is intertwined with other areas of the county.
There also will be an announcement about the new Hewitt Avenue National Historic District.
Higher speed limits: Snohomish County Public Works increased the speed limit on Dubuque Road near the Pilchuck River bridge near Snohomish to 40 mph from 30 mph.
People who live nearby asked for the change. County officials deemed the increase is reasonable, given current traffic patterns.
Members of the public who object to the change can file a written appeal to the clerk of the County Council by March 28.
The clerk is located on the eighth floor of the county administration building east, 3000 Rockefeller Ave., Everett.
