Chilean airline orders three more 767s

Chile’s LAN Airlines has ordered three 767-300ER jets valued at $493 million, the Boeing Co. said Friday morning.

The airline now has orders for 33 of the 767s assembled in Everett, the company said.

“This order for additional 767s builds on the long-standing relationship between Boein

g and LAN,” Marlin Dailey, vice president of sales & marketing, said in a news release.

LAN’s fleet consists of 28 767-300ERs and 11 767-300 freighters, Boeing said.
