Firefighters to deliver flowers to aid burn center

LAKE STEVENS — Firefighters here are chipping in on Valentine’s Day to raise money for the Northwest Burn Foundation.

The event, “Hearts on Fire,” will feature off-duty firefighters from Snohomish County Fire District 8 in Lake Stevens delivering flowers for Haggen Food & Pharmacy.

The firefighters will be in full uniform delivering flowers from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday.

All of their delivery fees will go to the Northwest Burn Foundation. The foundation is a nonprofit that aims to prevent burns and help burn survivors.

For more information about deliveries, contact the store at 425-377-7100 or 8915 Market Place NE in Lake Stevens. Only that branch can take orders for Lake Stevens firefighter deliveries.

Advance orders are requested. Deliveries must be in city limits.
