Are you a Norwegian in need of 50 grand?
Casting for Season 9 of “Alt for Norge” is underway for applicants who are disgruntled with U.S. politics and want to explore relocating to Norway.
The Emmy-winning Norwegian Reality TV show takes 12 Norwegian-Americans to Norway to reconnect with their roots while competing in cultural and adventurous challenges. The winner gets $50,000 and meets long-lost Norwegian relatives.
An open casting call is 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 21 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Seattle Downtown, 1113 6th Ave. Applicants must have some Norwegian ancestry, be at least 18 and have not traveled to Norway after the age of 14.
