Two seriously injured in crash in Arlington

ARLINGTON — At least two people were hurt in a crash Wednesday evening in Arlington.

One person suffered life-threatening injuries and a second person was seriously hurt in the collision around 6 p.m. at Smokey Point Boulevard and 188th Street NE, according to a tweet by the local firefighters union.

The intersection was expected to be closed for at least an hour, according to the City of Arlington. Traffic was detoured.
