LYNNWOOD — A man with a knife robbed a marijuana store Tuesday in Lynnwood, taking about $288 in products, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.

A man with braided hair was wearing a Russell Wilson Seahawks jersey, No. 3, when he took a package of cannabis from the store at 4:30 p.m. in the 15900 block of Highway 99, Shari Ireton, a spokeswoman for the sheriff’s office, said.

An employee followed him outside and demanded the goods back. And for once, that actually worked. The man handed over the marijuana to the clerk, Ireton said. But a moment later, the thief changed his mind. He pulled out a 6-inch switchblade and took the cannabis again.

He was last seen fleeing west on 156th Street SW. Sheriff’s deputies searched the neighborhood but couldn’t find him.
