1,000 homes in Marysville without power

MARYSVILLE — Power went out at more than 1,000 homes in Marysville on Wednesday afternoon.

Lines were down at 36th Avenue NE and 88th Street NE, darkening traffic lights, according to police. Most of those without power were just east of I-5 in the city, a Snohomish Public Utility District map showed.

The outage started around 3 p.m. The cause wasn’t immediately clear, said Neil Neroutsos, a spokesman for the PUD.
