Driver arrested after car strikes pedestrian in Everett

EVERETT — A 19-year-old man was injured when he was struck by a car in Everett Thursday night.

He was crossing the road near 12th Street and Broadway around 8 p.m. He was in a crosswalk, said Everett police officer Aaron Snell.

Meanwhile, a 28-year-old woman was turning left from 12th Street to Broadway. Her vehicle struck the man.

He was taken to the hospital, but was expected to survive.

The driver remained at the scene to talk with detectives, Snell said. She was arrested on outstanding warrants.
