Arlington recognizes volunteer

The Arlington Mayor’s Volunteer Award was presented recently to Dr. Devin Brossard, president of the Arlington Runners’ Club. The club holds charitable races that generate thousands of dollars for local charities. A February race raised about $6,000 for Eagle Wings DisAbility Ministries, for example, while a Thanksgiving event raised $4,600 for the Arlington Community Food Bank.
