For 20 years, Bob Stiles of Edmonds has commuted by bike or bus to his job in Seattle, as well as to get around for other daily tasks. Even in snow.
That effort has saved 6,672 drive-alone miles, according to Community Transit’s math. The transit agency recently named Stiles its Curb the Congestion Champion of the Year.
