LAKE STEVENS — A woman has died after a three-car collision north of Lake Stevens on the afternoon of New Year’s Eve, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.

A man driving a van rear-ended a Toyota Yaris around 2 p.m. near 84th Street NE and 105th Avenue NE. The Toyota was pushed into oncoming traffic, causing a head-on collision with an Acura SUV.
