EVERETT — Police in Everett are looking for two people suspected of robbing a store and using a box cutter to threaten an employee.

A man entered the Grocery Outlet on Everett Mall Way around 8 p.m. Dec. 23. He grabbed about $20 in goods and took off running, according to police. An employee yelled at him to stop and chased after him.

Outside the suspect turned around, brandishing a box cutter. He lunged and stabbed at the employee’s stomach. The worker received minor injuries, Everett police officer Aaron Snell said.

The suspect got into a car with a woman, who had been in the store with him. She drove off.

Tips can be directed to the Everett Police Department at 425-257-8450.
