LYNNWOOD — Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an armed break-in of a Lynnwood-area home Sunday that left two people doused with pepper spray.
The home invasion was reported after 4 a.m. Sunday on 203rd Street SW.
Three suspects, described as young men, broke through the front door, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office reported Monday. The trio reportedly wore black ski masks and identified themselves as police.
They allegedly told a 56-year-old woman to remain where she was and confronted two other people — a man, 22, and woman, 23 — in a nearby bedroom.
They were both pepper sprayed and the man was held at gunpoint while the assailants demanded access to his safe, according to a news release.
The suspects stole cash, jewelry, a cellphone, a wallet and a gun.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the sheriff’s office anonymous tip line 425-388-3845.
