Two injured in apparent propane explosion near Lake Goodwin

MARYSVILLE — An apparent propane explosion west of Marysville sent two people to the hospital on Saturday night.

The fire was reported about 5:30 p.m. at a mobile home on 30th Avenue NW, near Lake Goodwin, according to the Marysville Fire District.

The injured were believed to be adults. One was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle in critical condition. One was taken to a local hospital in serious condition, officials said.

The cause of the explosion remained under investigation. No further details were immediately available.
