Girl hit by vehicle, injured near Lynnwood

LYNNWOOD — A girl was hit by a vehicle Wednesday afternoon and taken to Harborview Medical Center.

The girl reportedly was in the roadway and not in a crosswalk in the 16600 block of Larch Way, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office said. The driver whose vehicle hit her stayed at the scene, a couple of blocks south of 164th Street SW and outside of Lynnwood city limits, and was speaking with investigators.

The road was closed for the sheriff’s office investigation.
