Tulalip woman, 38, identified as fatally struck pedestrian

MARYSVILLE — A woman from the Tulalip area has been identified as a pedestrian struck down by a car on Fire Trail Road.

Samantha Elizabeth Walker, 38, died when she was hit by a westbound vehicle at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, on what is also known as 140th Street NE, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.

She died of blunt force injuries.

The driver, 85, of Stanwood, remained at the scene while sheriff’s deputies investigated.
