EDMONDS — A man in a truck was hurt after colliding with a train Tuesday morning.
The Edmonds driver, 82, was on a private access road adjacent to the tracks when a rail car sideswiped him, the Edmonds Police Department said.
He got out of his truck and walked to Dayton Street, where officers found him alert before he was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The railway was closed for about an hour, which delayed access to the Edmonds ferry terminal and the Sounder commuter train.
