Fire damages former Edmonds Family Fun Center building

EDMONDS — A fire early Wednesday morning damaged the former Family Fun Center building at 7212 220th St. SW.

The center was once home to arcade games, batting cages, a go-kart track and other entertainment. Someone passing by reported black smoke and flames at the commercial building around 1:55 a.m. Firefighters had it under control within 90 minutes, according to South County Fire.

There were no injuries.

Damage was estimated at $200,000.

Investigators believe the cause was an accident.
