AquaSox defeat Canadians in 10 innings

VANCOUVER, B.C. — The Everett AquaSox scored twice in the 10th inning on a bases-loaded balk and a bases-loaded walk and held on for a 4-2 win over the Vancouver Canadians on Tuesday night at Nat Bailey Stadium.
Charlie Welch scored the first run in the 10th on a balk by Vancouver pitcher Jol Cencepcion with Justin Lavey at the plate. Trent Tingelstad then scored on a walk by Andy Thomas.
Spencer Packard broke open a scoreless tie with a two-run home run in the top of the seventh inning for the AquaSox.
The Canadians answered with two runs in the bottom of the inning and the game stayed tied 2-2 through nine.
Adam Macko started on the mound for Everett (8-13) and allowed no runs on two hits in five quality innings. Macko struck out seven and walked three. Lean Hunter closed the game with two strong innings and struck out five.
Packard and Welch both had two hits and Alberto Rodriguez had a double for the AquaSox.
Morris went 2-for-4 with two RBI for Vancouver (10-10).
