Along with Jan. 6, follow the money on Trump’s dealings

U.S. House hearings into the cause of the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol inssurection clearly indicate that all roads of the investigation lead to Donald J. Trump. But if it can conclusively be shown that he did anything patently illegal is another matter altogether.

Remember that Al Capone was never indicted for mobster activity. He was convicted of tax fraud.

So, let’s hear it for the Manhattan distrtict attorney, the New York state attorney gneral and federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York (where the Trump organization is based) as they all dig deep into Mr. Trump’s income tax returns.
