EVERETT — AquaSox pitchers were battered for 18 hits and Everett suffered its fourth straight loss, 13-2, to the Hillsboro Hops on Saturday night at Funko Field.

The Hops scored all 13 runs before the AquaSox finally pushed across a tally in the bottom of the seventh. Dariel Gomez singled home Robert Perez Jr. for Everett’s first run of the game.

Mike Salvatore drew a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the eight for the only other run for the AquaSox.

Juan Merceded started on the mound for Everett (48-52) and allowed four runs on eight hits in 4.1 innings. Kelvin Nunez entered in relief and allowed seven runs on seven hits in just 1.1 innings pitched. Marysville Pilchuck alum Trent Tingelstad, normally an outfielder, pitched a clean ninth inning for the AquaSox.

Deyvison De Los Santos and A.J. Vukovich each had four hits, and Caleb Roberts, Neyfy Castillo and Ryan Bliss all homered for Hillsboro (44-55).
