Highway 203 closure this weekend

A well-traveled stretch of Highway 203 in Monroe will be closed over the weekend for railway crossing repairs.

Highway 203 will be closed 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, to 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 6, in both directions, from Highway 2 to East Main Street. Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway plans repairs at the crossing at South Lewis Street.

Detours will be posted. Local business traffic can still use East Stretch Street and Hill Street.
