Man charged with second shooting in Everett

EVERETT — A man already in custody for one shooting has been charged with another that occurred in south Everett in December.

The man was arrested on Dec. 15 in connection with a shooting in the 3700 block of Smith Avenue.

Meanwhile, the Everett Police Major Crimes Unit had been searching for a suspect in a different shooting that occurred in the late afternoon on Dec. 14 in the 200 block of W Casino Road.

The suspect in both shootings remains in the Snohomish County Jail.

The two shootings were part of a string of four in Everett in less than 24 hours.
