Rock & gem club sets annual sale
The Maplewood Rock and Gem Club plans its annual Rock & Mineral Sale for 10 a.m.-5 p.m. April 1-2 at 8802 196th St. SW, Edmonds.
A variety of vendors will offer gems, rocks, slabs, crystals, beads, rough, cabochons, gems, fossils, gift item, and more, both rough and carved, big and small.
Master Gardener plant sale coming to fairgrounds
Shop tens of thousands of plants at the Snohomish County Master Gardener Foundation’s Annual Plant Sale, set for 9 a.m.-2 p.m. April 29.
The sale will take place in the Don Britton Livestock Pavilion at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds.
Choose from over 4,000 tomato plants, 4,000 herb and veggie starts, thousands of perennials and hundreds of dahlias, as well as bog plants, native plants, trees, shrubs and ground covers. A holding area and a load-out area for easier shopping will be available. Local master gardeners will be on hand to help with plant selections and answer gardening questions.
All proceeds benefit the nonprofit Snohomish County Master Gardener Foundation, which supports the WSU-Snohomish County Master Gardener Program. For more information call 425—357-6010 or go to www.snomgf.org.
Alderwood Garden Club plant sale set in Lynnwood
The Alderwood Garden Club Plant Sale is scheduled for 9 a.m.-1 p.m. April 29 at Cedar Valley Grange, 20526 52nd Ave. W. Lynnwood.
On offer will be many varieties of perennials, shrubs, veggie starts, annuals, garden art and more.
Plant sale proceeds support the Edmonds Community College Horticulture scholarship fund, community projects and other activities by the garden club, a nonprofit organization.
