BASEBALL

Wesco 4A

Jackson 15, Kamiak 0 (5)

MILL CREEK — Ryan Nakajima went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and three RBI to help pace Jackson in a league win over Kamiak.

Micah Coleman went 3-for-5 with two RBI and two stolen bases, and Evan Mothersbaugh went 2-for-4 with three RBI and a stolen base for Jackson (12-1, 3-0 Wesco 4A).

Kamiak fell to 4-11 overall and 0-5 in league play.

Lake Stevens 4, Glacier Peak 3

SNOHOMISH — Seth Mahler doubled and drove in two runs and Lake Stevens scored four runs in the top of the fifth inning to overcome a three-run deficit and beat Glacier Peak in a league game.

Cole Becker went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored, Kaiden Sekely struck out nine in four innings pitched and Jared Hardie tossed two scoreless innings of relief to close out the win for Lake Stevens (10-3, 3-0).

Bode Stevenson went 3-for-4 with a triple, double and two RBI, and Owen Gluth and Nate Morello had two hits each for Glacier Peak (6-9, 0-3).

Wesco 3A/2A North

Snohomish 4, Arlington 3

SNOHOMISH — After Snohomish seniors Gavin Maynard and Austin Baalman set the table with seventh-inning singles, fellow senior Easton Leonard finished the job for the Panthers with a walk-off RBI to edge out visiting Arlington.

Snohomish took down the Eagles 4-3 in a Wesco 3A/2A North league baseball game on Friday evening at Earl Torgeson Field, rebounding from a 6-0 loss on Tuesday in the first part of a two-game series.

Stanwood 7, Marysville Getchell 6

STANWOOD — Tryston Stephenson hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift Stanwood to a thrilling league win over Marysville Getchell.

Braedon Requa went 4-for-4, Stephenson finished with multiple hits and Treyton Mascarenas stole three bases for Stanwood (8-6, 6-2 Wesco 3A/2A North).

Ethan Jury went 3-for-5 with a HR and five RBI, and Eathen Yoon went 2-for-4 with an RBI for Maryville Getchell (4-10, 1-7).

SNOHOMISH — Senior Skyla Bristol tossed a five-inning no-hitter and struck out 10 of the 17 batters she faced to lead Snohomish to a league win over Arlington.

Emma Hansen went 4-for-4 with a home run and five RBI, Cam Sage went 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI, Kendel Sage went 2-for-3 with an RBI and Abby Edwards went 2-for-3 with a double for Snohomish (7-3, 5-0 Wesco 3A/2A).

Arlington fell to 6-5 overall and 3-3 in league play.

MUKILTEO — Travis Velasco scored twice, including the game-winner in the second half, as Kamiak edged Lake Stevens in a league match.

Wyatt Stevens and Daniel Le added assists for Kamiak (3-8-0, 2-2-0 Wesco 4A).

Lake Stevens fell to 1-6-1 overall and 0-4-0 in league play

Edmonds-Woodway 1, Cedarcrest 0

EDMONDS — Ben Hanson scored the lone goal in the game to back a shutout in goal from Gabriel Wilhelm as Edmonds-Woodway remained unbeaten overall and in league play with a win over Cedarcrest.

Victor Ibarra assisted Hanson’s goal for Edmonds-Woodway (10-0-1, 10-0-0 Wesco 3A/2A).

Cedarcrest fell to 0-7-4 overall and 0-7-2 in league play.

Cascade 1, Lynnwood 0

EVERETT — Carter Gay scored the lone goal in the game to lift Cascade to a league win over Lynnwood.

Gay’s goal was assisted by Javier Murillo Garcia for Cascade (5-5-1, 5-4-1 Wesco 3A/2A).

Lynnwood fell to 3-8-0 overall and 3-7-0 in league play.

Marysville Pilchuck 2, Marysville Getchell 1

MARYSVILLE — Justin Alvarado scored the winning goal of an assist from Diego Pena Salgado in the second half as the Tomahawks knocked off the rival Chargers in a league clash.

Alhagie Ceesay added a goal for Marysville Pilchuck (7-3-1 overall, 7-3-0 Wesco 3A/2A).

Conner Doherty netted a goal for Marysville Getchell (1-8-2, 1-8-1).
