AquaSox explode for 20 runs in drubbing of Hops

HILLSBORO, Ore. — The Everett AquaSox pounded out 17 hits and worked 13 walks as the offensive exploded in a 20-7 win over the Hillsboro Hops on Saturday.
Alberto Rodriguez had three hits, including a double, and five RBI, Walking Cabrera homered and drove in three and James Parker had four hits, including two doubles, and drove in two. Jonatan Clase added three hits and three RBI and Harry Ford walked four times and scored three times for Everett (2-5), which scored two runs or more in eight different innings.
AquaSox started Reid Morgan pitched five innings, allowing three runs on five hits and three walks, to pick up the win. He struck out two.
Jesus Valdez hit a solo home run, Shane Muntz had two hits and two RBI and Channy Ortiz added two hits and an RBI for Hillsboro (6-2).
Yu-Min Lin took the loss for the Hops after allowing three runs on three hits and two walks over 1 1/3 innings.
