Every year The Daily Herald takes nominations and lets readers vote for the Best of Snohomish County Awards. There are dozens of categories, but here are the 2022 top choices for best fish & chips:

First Place: Ivar’s in Mukilteo, Everett, Bothell, Edmonds and Marysville

Ivar’s opened its first location in 1938. Their menu includes Ivar’s World Famous True Cod Fish ‘n Chips, Alaska Halibut Fish n’ Chips, Fried Prawns & Chips and more.

Second Place: Andy’s Fish House in Snohomish

Third Place: Scuttlebutt Brewing – Restaurant and Pub in Everett
