Woman’s body found in Mill Creek home after domestic assault report

MILL CREEK — Police discovered a woman’s body in a Mill Creek house where a man had reported he had assaulted his wife, police said Thursday.

Around 10 a.m., a man in the 13600 block of 41st Avenue SE reportedly called police to turn himself in for domestic violence. Officers arrived at the home and arrested the man “without incident,” according to Mill Creek police.

Police then reportedly found the deceased woman inside the house. Her identity and the cause of death had not been confirmed.

Detectives do not believe there was any further concern for public safety concern.

The investigation remained active Thursday.
