Marysville man, 53, killed in one-car crash near Snohomish

SNOHOMISH — A Marysville man died in a one-car crash Friday evening on Highway 96 near Snohomish, police said.
Around 6:15 p.m., Soheil Jadali was driving his Volkswagen east on Highway 96 when he struck a guardrail near the intersection with Lowell-Larimer Road, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Jadali’s car traveled across the road and hit a retaining wall, according to state troopers. He was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, where he died. He was 53.
Jadali worked as director of the Office of Sponsored Research at Seattle Children’s Hospital since 2019, according to his LinkedIn profile. Before that, he worked in California.
