EVERETT — A man killed in a suspected hit and run Monday morning in Everett has been identified.

Few details were available about what happened to John Rohrer around 5:30 a.m. Monday.

At that time, police responded to reports of Rohrer’s body in the 3900 block of Broadway, Everett officer Ora Hamel said Monday.

The deceased was 77. He died of blunt force injuries, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Wednesday.

Hamel said Wednesday police had no suspects in Rohrer’s death.

The northbound Broadway exits from I-5 were closed for a few hours while police investigated after the crash.
