Lake Stevens 55, Cascade 14

EVERETT — The Vikings leveraged exceptional defense and a balanced scoring night to improve to 13-4 overall and 10-0 in league play to claim the Wesco 4A title for a second consecutive season. Lake Stevens had four players score more than eight on the night, as sophomore Noelani Tupua had a game-high 12 points. Senior Kaysha Agag had six points for the Bruins (2-16, 0-10).

Glacier Peak 64, Jackson 33

SNOHOMISH — Senior star Brynna Pukis’ 24 points led the way in the Grizzlies’ second consecutive win, as Glacier Peak was up 22 by the halftime break. The result pushed GP to 12-6 overall and 8-2 in league play as Jackson fell to 8-10 and 4-6. Sophomore Makena Devine’s 22 points led the Timberwolves.

Kamiak 77, Mariner 21

Stanwood 52, Snohomish 50

STANWOOD — The Spartans (16-3, 8-1) held off a late comeback bid and won their rematch with the Panthers (13-6, 8-1) to pull within one point of taking the league lead on point differential. Senior Jazmyn Legg had 20 points for Stanwood while senior Tyler Gildersleeve-Stiles finished with 13 points for Snohomish.

Monroe 67, Marysville Getchell 29

MONROE — The Bearcats earned their third win in the last four games thanks to an impressive defensive showing and a game-high 20 points from junior Mya Mercille. The win pushed the Bearcats to 10-9 overall and 5-4 in league play. Senior Jaidyn Swanson had 14 points for the Chargers as her team fell to 2-17 and 2-7.

Everett 55, Marysville Pilchuck 17

EVERETT — The Seagulls didn’t allow more than six points in any quarter to improve to 6-14 overall and 4-5 in league games. The Shaws stood out for Everett, as juniors Akilah (18) and Akira (12) combined for 30 points. Sophomore Beatrice Lane had 16 points in the winning effort while junior Stella Baumgart had five points for the Tomahawks (0-19, 0-9).

Shorewood 63, Lynnwood 55

LYNNWOOD — Senior Bridget Cox’s game-high 23 points (11 in the fourth quarter) led the Stormrays to their second-straight win. The victory improved Shorewood to 8-12 overall and 6-5 in league play while Lynnwood dropped to 1-18 and 0-12 in the south to finish their league season. Freshman Nina Wilson has been a bright spot for the Royals — she finished with 19 points.

LYNNWOOD — The Mavericks (13-6 overall, 9-2 league) won the annual Rubber Chicken rivalry game, with contributions from Audrey Lucas (14 points) and Kyairra Roussin (10). Finley Wichers led E-W (9-10, 2-9) with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
