EVERETT — The Schack Art Center’s free annual arts festival, Fresh Paint, will return this weekend with vendors and artistic demonstrations in the center of downtown Everett.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday along Hoyt Avenue between Pacific Avenue and Hewitt Avenue.
The yearly arts festival will feature artwork available for purchase from over 100 artists based in the Pacific Northwest region, along with live artistic demonstrations, food vendors, and free art making projects for all ages. The Schack Art Center’s galleries will also be open admission-free, the nonprofit wrote in a press release last week.
“Fresh Paint offers something you can’t experience at every festival,” wrote Raedle Alburn, Executive Director of Schack Art Center, in the press release. “Visitors have the opportunity to meet artists, watch them demonstrate their craft, ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of the time, skill, and creativity behind every piece of art. We hope people leave not only inspired, but with a greater appreciation for the value of original artwork and the artists who create it.”
