Toledo man setting mole trap shoots self in hand

TOLEDO, Wash. — A 71-year-old Toledo man was setting a mole trap using a 12-gauge shotgun shell when it accidentally fired and hit his hand.

The Chronicle reports the man was treated by fire department medics Monday then flown to Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver.
