Air Lease Corp. plans to buy as many as 33 Boeing Co. aircraft, including 737s, 777s and 787s, the companies said Monday.

Boeing is working to finalize the agreement with the aircraft leasing company.

The deal would include 14 firm orders for 737-800s, five 777-300 Extended Range jet

s and four 787-9s. Air Lease also would have options for four additional 737-800s and would exercise options it placed for six 737-800s last year.

“We continue to build the foundation of our growing commercial lease fleet with these Next-Generation 737s, 777-300ERs and 787 Dreamliners,” said Steven F. Udvar-Hazy, chief executive of Air Lease Corp., in a statement.

Boeing and Air Lease Corp. announced the orders during the Paris Air Show on Monday. Boeing also announced deals for its 747-8 passenger plane and an order from Qatar Airways for six 777s. The Qatar Airways order is already listed on Boeing’s order books and attributed to an unidentified customer.
