Airbus considers A340 cuts

A French newsletter is reporting that Airbus plans to cut A340 production in half this year, from 12 to six, because of weak demand and order cancelations. An Airbus spokeswoman denies the story. But the co-chairman of parent company EADS acknowledges production cuts are a possibility.
