Aran Buchan has joined the Bothell firm Lovsted-Worthington as an account executive. Previously Buchan was the vice president of a local construction trade association. The Central Washington University graduate has a degree in public relations and extensive knowledge of construction, manufacturing, development and related industries.
Providence Health &Services has named Dr. Joseph Gifford chief of strategic innovation for the Providence and Swedish Medical Center affiliation. Gifford joins Chief Medical Officer Dr. Lawrence Schecter to lead the development of new care products for large employers. The new model of care will be available to companies starting in 2014.
Leigh Wilson is the newest team member at Leader One Financial in Everett. The residential mortgage loan originator was a real estate agent for more than 10 years.
Paige Albert is the newest sales associate for women’s apparel at Renee’s Contemporary Clothing in Everett. With more than 25 years of retail experience, Albert joins Marlene Forsgren on the sales floor.
Former hurdler and Snohomish High alumni Nick Pembroke, a McClain Insurance Services agent, served as an official at the Larry Eason Invitational Track and Field Meet on April 13 at Snohomish High School. Everett’s McClain Insurance was the Gold Medal presenting sponsor.

VSN Network, a television channel for beauty professionals, is now shooting for its annual top 10 series that features the finest salons, spas and resorts in the country. Locally owned Elle Marie Hair Studio has been selected as one of the top salons in the Seattle area. A video crew will visit Elle Marie’s Alderwood location on May 10.
The Everett Clinic is one of the region’s Top 75 Corporate Philanthropists as recognized by the Puget Sound Business Journal. The clinic donated $844,782 to the community in 2012 through grants, fundraisers, sponsorships and donations.

Snohomish Conservation District is offering free homemade fodder classes in Granite Falls to help farmers keep down their livestock costs.
