Jeff Green is the new managing partner of Moss Adams’ Everett practice. Former managing partner Caryl Thorp previously filled that role and will now focus on her clients and special projects.

LeeAnn Acker and Antoinette Kulick have been hired at Shockey-Brent, Inc., of Everett, which provides land use, environmental and permitting services to public and private clients in the state. Acker, who graduated in environmental science from the University of Washington, is an associate wetland scientist with the company. Kulick is a design planner with 20 years experience in the design industry.

Evelyn Lane has been named business banking area manager for Wells Fargo in the northern Puget Sound region. Lane, a financial services veteran of 33 years, directs business banking managers in Everett, Bellingham and Bellevue.

Joe Llona and Leslie Jonsson have passed an exam to become certified sustainable building advisers. Llona is an associate at CDi Engineers, a mechancial consulting firm in Lynnwood. Jonsson is a project manager and mechanical engineer for CDi.

Michele O’Loane has joined O’Loane, Nunn &Guthrie, PLLC, as a shareholder, and the firm’s name has changed to add hers. She will continue her focus on domestic relations. Stephen Manning has joined the law firm as an associate working in estate planning and domestic relations.

Kim Jarboe of Everett is the new branch manager of Washington Mutual at Murphy’s Corner, Silver Lake. Jarboe started working for the company nine years ago as an intern during high school.

Matt Phillips is the new executive director of the Dispute Resolution Center of Snohomish and Island counties, a program of Volunteers of America in Everett. Phillips has worked and studied in the field of conflict management for a decade. A graduate of University of California, Hastings, College of the Law, he has a background in alternative work in dispute resolution, mediation and bargaining clinics. Karen Clements, director of finance and administration at the Port of Everett, has earned the 2006 Professional Finance Officer Award from the Washington Finance Officers Association. The award acknowledges educational and professional excellence. Clements has earned the award for 17 years.

Buzz Rodland of Rodland Toyota in Everett was named the 2006 Robert P. Mallon Dealer of the Year at the recent Washington State Auto Dealers Association annual convention. Along with his work for the association, he has volunteered time to help the Everett Arts Commission, Rotary Club of South Everett and Mukilteo and the citizens Foundation for Everett Public Schools.

SoCo LoCo, a new Lynnwood festival, is 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Aug. 25 and 26, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 27 at Alderwood mall. South Snohomish County Chamber of Commerce hosts the event designed to celebrate diversity and family fun. Country western music plays Friday, classic rock and roll on Saturday and blues and jazz on Sunday. Everett Hawks football players will be on hand throughout the festival. Awards

MicroGREEN Polymers of Snohomish County, has won a research and technology award from the Washington Technology Center. The company that works with researchers at the University of Washington’s microcellular plastics lab in the development of environmentally friendly plastic disposable food packaging.

Good deeds

The VanTassell family of Edmonds is the winner of a summer picnic basket of goodies from Petosa’s Family Grocer. The basket was assembled by store owner Betty Jo Petosa. More than 1,000 customers entered to win the prize.
